2021-22 Osteopathic Medical College Cost of Attendance

Thirty-seven private colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs) and seven public COMs reported data for the 2021-22 Cost of Attendance Report.  The weighted average total cost of attendance for private COMs is $337,144 and the average cost of attendance for private COMs is $84,286.  The weighted average total cost of attendance for public COMs is $281,946 and the average cost of attendance is $70,487.  The weighted average total cost of attendance for both private and public COMs is $327,977 and the average cost of attendance for both public and private COMs is $81,994.   

The difference in weighted average total cost of attendance between private and public COMs is $55,198 or 17.8 percent while the difference in average cost of attendance between private and public COMs is $13,799 or 17.8 percent.
