COSGP's Research Symposium has long been a cornerstone for osteopathic medical students to showcase their research, foster collaboration, and advance scientific inquiry within the profession.
After a brief hiatus due to COVID, we are excited to bring it back, reaffirming COSGP’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation. Recognizing that research is the future of osteopathic medicine, we revitalized this symposium with a renewed focus on expanding research opportunities for students. As osteopathy continues to grow, it is essential that we strengthen our presence in scientific research, ensuring that students have the platform and resources to contribute meaningfully to the field.
From an organizational perspective, this symposium strengthens COSGP’s mission by:
- promoting student scholarship
- encouraging professional growth
- and reinforcing the role of research in osteopathic medicine, especially for students.
We hope to grow the event more in the future and involve submissions from students outside of the COSGP General Council to include osteopathic medical students nationwide! We hope it serves as a platform for meaningful academic exchange, cultivates future physician-scientists, and highlights the diverse contributions of osteopathic students.
