Enrollment Gender Race/Ethnicity Students Trends

Total enrollment for academic year 2018-19 is 30,367. This is an increase of 1,386 enrollees or 4.8 percent when compared to total enrollment for academic year 2017-18. 

Male enrollees increased by 332 enrollees or 2.1 percent while female enrollees increased by 1,048 enrollees or 8.0 percent since academic year 2017-18. There was an increase of 6 enrollees for the undisclosed category when compared to academic year 2017-18.

The underrepresented minority (URM) percentage for academic year 2018-19 is 9.2 percent when compared to 8.9 percent for academic year 2017-18.  This overall percentage increase is attributed to enrollment growth in the following URM categories: 

  • Hispanic/Latino increased by 85 enrollees or 5.4 percent.
  • American Indian/Alaska Native, non-Hispanic increased by 12 or 14.5 percent.
  • Black/African American, non-Hispanic increased by 107 enrollees or 12.1 percent.

First-year enrollment for academic year 2018-19 is 8,442. This is an increase of 354 enrollees or 4.4 percent when compared to total enrollment for academic year 2017-18. 

Male enrollees decreased by 55 enrollees or 1.3 percent while female enrollees increased by 405 enrollees or 11.0 percent since academic year 2017-18. There was an increase of four enrollees for the undisclosed category when compared to academic year 2017-18.

The underrepresented minority (URM) percentage for academic year 2018-19 is 10.0 percent when compared to 9.8 percent for academic year 2017-18.  This overall percentage increase is attributed to enrollment growth in the following URM categories: 

  • American Indian/Alaska Native, non-Hispanic increased by 20 enrollees or 91.0 percent.
  • Black/African American, non-Hispanic increased by 48 enrollees or 17.8 percent.
  • Pacific Islander, non-Hispanic increased by 4 enrollees or 36.4 percent.
