- Within hours of taking the Oath of Office on Monday, January 20, 2025, President Trump began issuing executive orders (EOs), including withdrawing from the World Health Organization and repealing more than 75 Biden-era EOs.
- The President directed federal departments and agencies, through February 1, 2025, to cease communications, guidance and the promulgation of regulations until approved by a political appointee.
- Other EOs seek to dismantle federal diversity, equity and inclusion programs, remove the promotion of gender identity from federal policies and end birthright citizenship.
- View an analysis by AACOM and the American Council on Education of early executive actions, which will be updated as the Administration issues and implements EOs of importance to the OME community.
