We hope you are having a great start to the new year! This is a critical time for the GME community, as interviews wrap up, residency programs prepare to submit their rank order lists and fourth year medical students prepare to make life-changing decisions in the match. Yet, year after year, programs continue to succeed in the match and osteopathic medical students enjoy higher match and placement rates. We hope these facts help to ease the hectic environment in the coming months.

2024 AOGME Educational Programming

To support our community, AOGME has organized a series of educational forums this year organized into four main themes: GME development, academic medicine career pathways, transitions in medical education (including the transition to residency) and graduate-level osteopathic training. View the list full list of webinars through June 2024.

Next week, on Wednesday, February 7 at 4:00 PM ET, we are hosting a webinar on developing new psychiatry residency programs with experts Daniel Elswick, MD, FACLP, West Virginia University School of Medicine, and Chris Francazio, MBA, Healthcare·PKFHealth, LLC. Learn how to take advantage of opportunities and navigate barriers in your path to developing new psychiatry residency programs. Register today.
