Advocacy Federal Policy GME GME Funding OME Advocate
Elizabeth Mintz, rising OMS II at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine, is passionate about advocating for the FAIR Act because of the disparate treatment her and her osteopathic peers face. As a proud osteopathic medical student, Elizabeth questions why federally funded graduate medical education (GME) programs harbor reluctance to accept COMLEX as equal to USMLE. She believes GME programs must learn about the COMLEX exam to help put an end to the discrimination DO students face. Learn more about why Elizabeth advocates for the Fair Access In Residency (FAIR) Act, H.R. 751, and join her in taking action.
