We are excited to welcome all new members who recently joined AOGME as part of AACOM’s 125th anniversary celebration! We are grateful to all current members who referred their colleagues for AOGME membership. Thank you to all existing and new AOGME members who joined us for the 2023 AOGME Annual Business meeting on April 19. We appreciate your engagement and participation in AOGME!

This year, AACOM celebrates 125 years of service to the nation’s colleges of osteopathic medicine and AOGME celebrates 6 years as part of AACOM. To mark this occasion and to show our gratitude to our members, we are pleased to offer one year of free membership this year. We hope you enjoy this unique opportunity and engage with us to influence the future direction of AOGME, the GME community and osteopathic medical education.

Our big goal is to have 1,250 AOGME members by the end of the upcoming academic year! We already have 550+ new AOGME members, including 100+ new RFC members. This brings the total AOGME membership to more than 700 members! Please continue to refer your friends and colleagues to join AOGME by emailing aogme@aacom.org, completing this quick 1-minute referral form or inviting them to join directly with this brief intake form.

Residents and Fellows Council Alumni: Where Are They Now?

The AOGME Residents and Fellows Council was established in 2018 to develop future leaders in the osteopathic profession by creating a community and forum for residents and fellows to connect, collaborate, learn and lead. AOGME is taking a look at the accomplishments of the distinguished leaders of the Residents and Fellows Council and keeping up with their current activities. Dr. Breanne Jaqua is an exemplary leader having served as the former Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents (COSGP) National Chair and as a founding member of the AOGME Residents and Fellows Council (RFC).
