This article describes how osteopathic medical students can increase their competitiveness for residency positions in the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). It defines the osteopathic core entrustable professional activities (EPAs) and how osteopathic medical students can leverage osteopathic principles during clinical rotations to increase candidacy for residency positions. Also included is a description of how osteopathic medical educators can facilitate this for their medical students to better prepare them for residency.
