In this webinar, Kimberly Wolf, DO, will describe the curriculum and components of the pediatric residency program at Nationwide Children's Hospital, the first pediatric program to receive ACGME Osteopathic Recognition. The program integrates osteopathic principles and osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) throughout its three-year curriculum, and blends in osteopathic research to produce practicing osteopathic pediatricians. Webinar participants will also learn about a key component of the program, the pediatric OMM clinic, where residents are able to practice their skills on patients with diverse pathology beginning at birth.

Webinar attendees will be able to better:

  • Discuss the importance of unique osteopathic training programs in the era of the single graduate medical education (GME) accreditation system
  • Review the curriculum of the osteopathic track in the pediatric residency program at Nationwide Children's Hospital
  • Discuss the pediatric OMM clinic at Nationwide Children's Hospital and how it was integrated into medical student/resident education
