Anya Pacleb, DO, a board-certified internal medicine physician and hospitalist at UPMC Lititz 's Department of Medicine. Committed to community service, she dedicates her expertise to serving rural areas, ensuring that patients have access to essential healthcare services. Dr. Pacleb earned her medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Virginia, and completed her internal medicine residency at UPMC Lititz. 

Dr. Pacleb has a passion for academic medicine. During her residency, she was a member of the AACOM Resident and Fellow Council. Now, serving as a faculty member in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at UPMC Lititz, she dedicates herself to educating and shaping the future generation of medical professionals. 

 

Dr. Pacleb assumed various leadership positions throughout her residency, such as her involvement in the Stroke and Medication Reconciliation Committees, focused on quality improvement. She headed the resident Simulation Committee, directed simulation workshops, and was chosen to represent her district at the 2019 POMA House of Delegates meeting. She also served as Chief Resident in her final year. Presently, she contributes her expertise to the hospital's medical executive committee and the Clinical Competencies and Program Evaluation committees for the internal medicine residency program at UPMC Lititz.
