Jeffrey J. LeBoeuf grew up in rural South Louisiana. He is a classically trained hospital administrator, having received an MBA and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Missouri after completing his undergraduate work in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education Administration. He is a long-time supporter of AOGME, formerly AODME, as a member.

‘’The community of osteopathic educators is a warm and collegial group that readily shares lessons learned and best practices. It is important to maintain and grow our osteopathic network if we are to maintain our osteopathic identity in the Single GME Accreditation System."

In 1997, he left the hospital industry to begin an association management firm. His clients included the Mississippi and North Carolina Osteopathic Medical Associations, Mississippi Psychological Association, Mississippi Society of Association Executives and American Osteopathic College of Occupational and Preventive Medicine. After accepting university employment in 2009, Mr. LeBoeuf kept only one client, the American Osteopathic College of Occupational and Preventive Medicine, from his management firm.

In addition to his work in Association Management, Mr. LeBoeuf has maintained a career in osteopathic graduate medical education administration. Since September 2021, Mr. LeBoeuf serves as the Director of Residency Programs and Designated Institutional Official for SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. From March 2016 to June 2021, Mr. LeBoeuf served as the Chief of GME (Graduate Medical Education) and Clinical Rotations at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. Between August 2009 and February 2016, Jeffrey was the Executive Director of the Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma (OMECO), the OPTI (Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution) for Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine; while there, OMECO expanded GME positions in Oklahoma by 258.

“The osteopathic profession is a great noble profession. Osteopathic physicians are kind, humble and very generous with their time. They treat all patients as well as their teammates with equal dignity. It has been my honor to serve this profession for the vast majority of my career. Working with students and residents has been especially rewarding.’’

Mr. LeBoeuf has been married to his lovely wife, Ronda, for 35 years. They have been blessed with six daughters, ages 18 to 29. Mr. LeBoeuf and Ronda welcomed their first granddaughter, Aspen, on March 16, 2020, and their second, Sage, on September 2, 2022. Mr. LeBoeuf enjoys telling stories, speaking to crowds of smart people, and working with medical students, residents and teaching faculty, as well as his professional colleagues.
