Advocacy Events OME Advocate
On September 11 and 12, 2024, join fellow osteopathic deans, students, faculty members and physicians to advocate for osteopathic medical education (OME) policy priorities. AACOM Advocacy Day will feature Members of Congress, public policy experts and AACOM’s Government Relations team presenting on the congressional landscape, effective advocacy tools and AACOM’s federal priorities. AACOM Advocacy Day registrants will attend virtual training sessions and engage their Members of Congress to elevate OME priorities, including the FAIR Act (H.R. 751), the Community TEAMS Act (H.R. 7258/S. 3968) and osteopathic research at NIH.
The event will be held virtually and is open to all members of the OME community. There is no cost to participate. Register by August 8 for the best chance to meet with your congressional office. Visit the Advocacy Day page for the latest updates.
