- Even though the public health emergency has ended, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that it will continue to allow virtual supervision of resident’s telehealth visits through the end of the year, while the agency completes further rulemaking.
- This enforcement flexibility was announced in a comprehensive May 12, 2023, FAQ document (#24).
