On March 9, 2023, President Biden unveiled his $6.9 trillion budget request for fiscal year (FY) 2024. The budget calls for $1.73 trillion in discretionary spending—programs that aren’t linked with mandatory spending like Social Security—and contains many provisions important to the OME community.
