- On March 11, 2024, President Biden unveiled his $7.3 trillion budget request for FY25.
- Due to previously agreed upon budget caps from the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023, at $1.63 trillion, the FY25 budget requests 5.7 percent less in discretionary spending compared to FY24.
