- With the expected passage of the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education Appropriations bill by the March 22, 2024, deadline, Teaching Health Centers, Community Health Centers and the NHSC are expected to receive increased funding through December 31, 2024, backdating to the beginning of FY24.
- The Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Program funding levels will increase from $126.5 million for FY24 to $219 million through the end of the calendar year.
- Community Health Centers will receive a $270 million increase in annual funding to $4.27 billion.
- Funding for the NHSC has risen to $345 million per year, $35 million more than its current funding.
