Applicants & Matriculants Average GPA 2016-2023

Key findings from this report include: 

• The overall mean undergraduate GPA is higher for 2023 applicants and matriculants compared to 2022 applicants and matriculants, an increase of .02 and .01 respectively.
• The overall mean undergraduate GPA is higher for 2023 applicants and matriculants compared to 2016 applicants and matriculants, an increase of .09 and .06 respectively.
• In order of highest to lowest, 2023 applicants and matriculants mean undergraduate GPAs were non-science (3.67 and 3.71), total (3.54 and 3.60) and science (3.43 and 3.50). 
• Of all GPA types, post-baccalaureate non-science GPA was the highest, 3.80 for applicants and 3.86 for matriculants.
